HAPPY NEW YEAR 2006!

Hee-llo!

Yeah, it is taking place, the first show ever. We are going to perform some 6-7 songs unplugged at a private party on the 27th of January. Let´s hope that we can publish couple of photos of the occasion later...

It also seems, that PANIK ÜBER FRANKFURT 2006-tour is slowly coming together. 4-5 Dates to be announced later during the spring.

Meanwhile go check out a Russian bluegrass / country -band called Bering Strait. Wonderfully talented, classically trained young musicians who have spent some six years already in Nashville and released couple of records. Especially when unplugged, they seem to be sort of mentally related to our doings. Although one has to say, we are not quite as dead-serious as they are. Please find the link to their website on the links -section somewhere down there on the right.

Oh yeah, the name competition winner is going to be announced after the next rehearsal on Jan 5th. What name competition? Well , scroll down a few posts and it will come clear to you...

Again, all the best for the year 2006!

current developements

Whoa! We are proud to announce couple of "yet-somewhat-to-be-confimed" additions to our organisation. Since we have not been able to rehearse for a while due to the busy schedules or some minor injuries on some of the musicians, we have been concentrating on strenghtening the system.
The new manager was already announced in the previous post. On Friday night SaM came up with a major breakthru. Country & Westerinen is almost signed to the most important indie-label on the Finnish folk & roots -business. Whether the owner/MD of the company remembers anything about the conversation that took place around midnight in a suburban pub, is another question.
But for a band who has not played a note in public and is not even interested in making a record - pretty well done, one might say.
T-Rox and All-U did reportedly spend Saturday night in similar kind of circumstances. A happy coincidence brought another top-talented musician to the band - a lap-steel guitar player. Announcing the new member still needs a confirmation from the person himself. He might not be quite aware of what is it precisely he got himself involved with. But if the reports are true, we are talking about a major league player of stringed instruments - even on an international scale - and a nicest of guys.

So let us hope that it all is true.

Until the next time, truly Yours.
