bada-bum-tshick-ka-boom-tshak

We are proud to announce a significant addition to our line-up. A cool pro drummer Mick1 (alternatively T-Roxtoo) has agreed to give us a pair of hands in playing in the demo mentioned below. If the man likes what we are doing, who knows, maybe - just maybe - he´ll join us for a show or two... Pic here courtesy of Tiia.

so. what´s next, guys!?

Yes, yes, yes indeed it was fun. Some 70 people were there to witness our first ever live appearance on on stage on Friday 27th of January.
I guess we did allright, because couple of offers for new gigs came right after the show. Even All-Us stylish late grandfather would probably be a fan. On the picture here on the right he seems to be asking the question: So. What´s next, guys!?
Well, about future plans. We are going to play in a 3 song demo somewhere in the early days of March. This is in order to get couple of dates for performances before August. Probably the next one would take place in late May.
It is sure worth the trouble to have a manager. Pakula did surprise us all on Friday. Once the gig started, Pakula noticed that the audience was enjoying themselves. He immediatly rushed to the bar, borrowed a plastic bucket and stated collecting donations for the poor, starving players. The result: 52 euros 15 cents plus some 12 Danish crowns and 3 cigarrettes. Thats over a dollar per person. The incident revealed the fact that Pakula has got a history in punk-circles, where a stunt like that is nothing out the ordinary. When he appeared after the show with the bucket and wide smile on his face... man... =))
We decided to invest the money wisely. Some of it goes to our kind photographer - AJ Savolainen - to cover the film costs, some of it is kept in reserve for the fuel - if we ever perform outside Helsinki. And there is the managers cut - 10% to deal with.
Some live photos of the gig in the next post.

So far so good,
